It is useful to remember that the ideology of business simply is the generation of long term wealth within the constraints of and with full respect of the scoio-legal system within which the business operates.
This requires that one hand the business must be clinically evaluated and corrected and on the other hand utmost respect is shown for the laws of the land.
Business Process Review
Business processes, also called human processes for some are equally if not more important than the physical processes. It pays, therefore, to critically examine business processes to ensure that they are not wasteful but further that they are indeed supporting the business in achieving it full potential.
The examination includes evaluation of the process from various standpoints and that in turn informs the change process. The change process is not straightforward. It is not as simple as issuing an edict. It is about gving careful and equal thought to at least the following:
- Strategy: the course of action that you will pursue
- Structure: having the right quality and quantity of resources in your organnisation structure
- System: that creates a nexus between strategy and structure to deliber results
When we propose a strategy for business improvement, we also asist with definition of the structure and provide a system that will drive the business towards continuous improvement.
Dashboards
Bill Gates wrote that business must be conducted at the speed of thought
but business is always bogged down by voluminous and hard to generat reports and employees devote enormous amounts
of energy in producing management reports. We think this is wasteful and provide dashboards implemented in html5 and css to present the required information in the most appropriate form
so that energy is spent in taking actions not wroting reports.
System Optimisation
Anecdotally, there is hardly an ERP implementation that fully exploits the functionalities of that ERP system. Users do not understand the new business process or lack the ability to keep the system up to date. The result is a huge wasted effort. In addition, to training of the workforce - and it has to be much more than "what button to push" - there is need to periodically audit and reset parameters so that the ERP is fully and propery used.
Legacy systems pose another problem. Whilst a vast majority of them continue to function properly they do not provide the functionality that newer systems provide. We can create a wide range of decision support systems that will make up for the shortcomings of your legacy system and thereby prolong its life.
Project Management
It is usual to focus on the "iron triangle" - on-time, on-budget, on-scope. All these are importantbut consider this, what if you built a four-lane carriageway from Alice Springs to nowhere in particular? Would that be of any benefit even if it is a high quality project delivery? We believe it is more important to focus on the benefits that the project will deliver.
- At the initiation stage ask what benefits are we hoping for?
- At the approval stage confirm that benefits are deiverable
- During design continue to check that the benefits will be realised
- During implementation keep checking that benefits are not getting compromised
- On completion verify that benefits have been received or will accrue
- During use, keep optimising

Socio-legal Compliance
Business relationships are built on contracts. They ought to take a position of importance in any business and be properly drafted. On the contrary, some businesses tend to cut and paste clauses to cobble together a contract which can in the worst case be totally unenforceable. We can write contracts for you that are in plain English and can be well understood by you staff and the counter-party. Reducing misunderstanding goes a long way in ensuring that the contract operates without a problem.
Even if the contract is properly written, if your staff does not administer it carefully and for example make unnecessary concessions then the written words would be replaced by the actual conduct of parties and you will lose protection of the contract. We can provide your staff with a methodolgy for managing your contracts.

Bear in mind and beware that loopholes in law can be exploited by clever drafting. Your staff needs to be trained in business ethics so that they do not inadvertently breach the provisions of statutes and the common law. Your brand will suffer a huge damage if consumers, customers or employees are harmed by your conduct.
